ILR, ARI, or CLRC Registration: Exhibitors entered in ALSA classes must be the registered owners and make entry in the exact names (owner and llama/alpaca) as show on the registration certificate or have a "Permission To Show" form from the registered owners. All llamas entered in approved classes, with the exception of youth classes and adult non-breeder halter classes, must be registered or have passed screening with the International Lama Registry (ILR) or the Canadian Livestock Record Corporation (CLRC). Non-breeder llamas that are not registered and wish to be in the ALSA award system and show in halter must show in the adult non-breeder halter class and must have a veterinarian certificate verifying the animal is a gelding, vasectomized male, or a spayed or non-reproductive female. All alpacas entered in approved classes, with the exception of youth classes, must be registered by the Alpaca Registry, Inc. (ARI) or the Canadian Livestock Record Corporation (CLRC). Copies of registration certificates must be sent with entry forms.
Arrival: Show staff will be available for check-in from Noon-9:00 pm Friday, May 19th
Departure: All llamas must be out of the stalls by 9:00 am Monday May, 22.
Awards: Ribbons will be awarded for 1st-6th place in each class (ALSA and non-ALSA). Grand and Reserve Champions in all halter and performance divisions (ALSA and non-ALSA) will be awarded ribbons and special prizes. 1st place GOS and POD will be awarded special prizes. We will also be awarding Ribbons and Banners to the Overall Grand & Reserve Champion Male and Female Llamas.
